Level 1: Foundation of The Scene | Thursdays 7-9:30p
Union Comedy's entry-level course introduces students to the skills and techniques that are most essential to a successful longform improv scene. Students will learn the value of making decisive and active choices, embracing and utilizing the choices of their scene partners, and working together to create something fun, funny, and unique out of practically nothing. No prior experience necessary.

Instructor Bio | Erin Doran began doing improv in 2018 in North Carolina before moving to the Boston area in 2019. She got her start teaching in the outdoor recreation world in 2014 by helping teenagers survive in the wilderness of Wyoming. Most weekends, you can see her perform on the house team Babe, with her indie troupe, &/or occasionally in the Pickle. When she is not performing, Erin is making pottery or crafting and living the dream with her partner, Patrick, and dog, Goose.
Union Comedy School offers 4 levels of classes focused on long-form improv, plus a variety of unique advanced workshops. There is a place for all students from beginner to advanced. If you're not sure where to start, just ask us! We love talking improv.
